We invest heavily in training our team, which has included working with local dealers, trips oversees to manufacturers, Dale Carnegie as well as continued support within the team. We are always on the look out for experienced, full time operators to join our team where we will get to understand your career aspirations and help you achieve your goals.

JCL also requires seasonal staff for the Grass and Maize Silage Season. Training and inductions start in September followed by grass silage and cultivations through the spring. The season finishes late April with Maize Silage harvesting and re-grassing work. JCL ensures that all seasonal staff have the opportunity to upskill and have a variety of equipment to operate, rather than being “stuck” on the same machine for the season.

The equipment we need operators for includes:

• Buckraking/ Stacking- Volvo L90 & Fendt 824
• Maize Planting & Drilling
• Forage Harvesters- Claas 960
• 4 & 2 Rotor Rakes
• Round Combination baler
• Loader/ Forage Wagons
• Spreaders
• Tractor and Trailer/ silage bin
• Cultivation equipment- Discs, Rippers, Power Harrows and Drills
• Sprayers
• GPS Autosteer.

For the 2023/24 season we JCL be recruiting seasonal operators based on a passion for the industry, a willingness to learn, as well as being happy to work long hours and weekends. We are happy to invest resources into training and ongoing support for those that are keen.
